My cultivated life, would be one deeply rooted in Jesus Christ, saturated by God’s truth & promises.
My cultivated life looks like quiet time with the Lord each morning, devoted time to war room prayers; fighting the battle through prayer, petition & thanksgiving. My cultivated prayer life looks me praying on my knees for my husband, our marriage, each one of my beautiful babies, my family, my friends, my community, my church, my world, my government, the return of Christ. My cultivated life looks like journaling: prayer & gratitude. My cultivated life looks like me anticipating the return of Christ, being prepared, my lantern is full, fresh oil, daily unique anointing.
My cultivated life looks like thriving health for my family & myself; physically & mentally strong, through Christ Jesus, not by bread alone. Cultivated health looks like enjoyable exercise, being in nature, breathing the air, soaking in the sunshine & vitamin D, feeling grass on my bare feet, feeling the wind on my face, letting the rain wash away & refreshen my soul. Nourishing food & meals shared at a table surrounded, by family & sometimes friends, less restrictions, more biblical feasting, breaking of bread together & always practicing Thanksgiving. Cultivated health looks like peaceful rest at night, resting safely in our home & beds, warmth, cuddles, & resting in the sweet embrace of Jesus. Cultivated health looks like healing of mind, body, & spirit; less fear more strength to overcome it, not succumbing to anxiety, managing stresses of life, resting in trust of God’s plan.
My cultivated life looks like biblically stewarded finances, tithing, giving, saving, paying our debts (debt free) & wisely using what God has graciously provided. My cultivated life looks like working only for God’s glory & to further His kingdom, lead people to Jesus. My cultivated career looks like pursuing what God sets before me, disciplining myself to show up & do the work, going even when I am tired & want to stay home. My cultivated career looks like using my past mistakes, forgiven sins, my mess for His message, giving all glory to God & telling of His mercy & grace, bringing the darkness into the light.
My cultivated life looks like serving others, selfless love, praying for others before myself. My cultivated life looks me being broken bread & poured out wine.
